Steve Ritchey grew up in Highland Park near downtown Dallas and graduated from Highland Park High School.  He attended Emory University in Atlanta before deciding to go into Architecture which led him to LSU, for Architecture and Landscape Architecture Schools.  He has degrees in both Architecture and Business.

Steve worked in commercial design and as a restoration specialist for historic buildings including Oak Alley Plantation and St. Joe Plantation along the Historic River Road north of New Orleans.  He then concentrated on designing new homes and remodeling old ones, primarily, in New Orleans, Dallas and Santa Fe.  

1998 he formed Dallas Buyers Agents Real Estate to provide Homebuyers with a high level of real estate services that included designing new homes or remodeling existing ones to suit his client's needs.  For fifteen years, Dallas Buyer’s Agents would be able to help clients buy a property, and, supply any architectural drawings necessary for remodeling or making additions to the property.  Another specialty became helping clients buy New Homes, both custom and production, in new home neighborhoods.

In 2008, Steve opened TEXOMA HOME Real Estate covering the area of North Texas called "Texoma", along the border between Texas and Oklahoma including Sherman, Denison and other towns throughout North Texas.

TEXOMA HOME Real Estate became a full-service real estate company serving the needs of both buyers and sellers throughout North Texas, still dedicated to a higher level of service for home buyers and sellers.
